👋 Ey up, I’m Liz.
I grew up in rural North Yorkshire and spent time studying for a Masters in Geoscience in Staffordshire. I then moved to the big city of Leeds in 2013 for my first tech job and have lived in various parts of Yorkshire ever since.
I have over a decade of experience working in software and technology, working a number of positions and in a lot of different industries throughout that time, but I have been in the position of Senior Product Designer at Cera Care since October 2023.
I practise and have skills in all phases of Product Design, particularly research and discovery but I’m passionate about visual design and I’m constantly being inspired to find new and efficient ways to communicate an idea or solution through digital design.
I’m also a huge believer in being an advocate for end users. I strive to represent them through the process and challenge the teams I work with to do the same.
Throughout my career, I have worked on a variety of product solutions, for a range of clients and teams of all different sizes based around the world. I have line managed and mentored other designers, and strive to introduce standardised design processes and designOps into the teams I work with.

Outside of the product design world, I enjoy and explore my creativity through crafting, DIY, interior design, gardening, baking, music and D&D. Plus, my little terrier sidekick, Bert, is never too far away from my side.
